Toy Piano Electrification

I love this little pink toy piano, and I wanted a way to record it that sounds like your head was stuck all the way right down inside it.

A couple of contact mics on opposite walls of the body give maximum stereo image width, a bit of my favorite secret hacker substance— Blu Tack— on the piano's hammers make a more gentle, less ping-tastic sound than the original hard plastic, and covering the mics with copper foil tape reduces interference, giving a nice clean final output.
