Work
What I have actually done
Five engagements that between them cover most of what I get hired for: consumer products at scale, teams that need levelling up, and products that have to be rescued before they can move again.
Onshoring an agency-built MVP, then making it good
CTO and product lead for a dating startup. I onshored the agency-built MVP, brought the product up to a standard worth scaling, built the engineering team, and grew it internationally.
Teaching a whole engineering team to ship native iOS
A team of web and backend developers, a native iOS product to ship, and no in-house Swift, very early in Swift’s life. I trained the whole team, then re-architected a content library that survived every device Apple has released since.
A consumer app on top of a black box
One of five engineers on the iOS team. I designed and coded the ‘listening’ animations during a 250-million-download expansion, on an app that held 4.5 stars and repeated Apple feature placements.
Rebuilding a telehealth app for security and usability
Sole iOS developer on River Health, a telehealth product, rebuilding the app to protect patient privacy and keep clinician–patient communication reliable.
A music social network MVP, at half the estimate
Built the MVP for Catnip, a music-focused social app, in half the estimated time and cost by working AI-assisted from the start.
